The Department of Engineering Acoustics is mainly concerned with questions of noise and vibration control together with activities on the field of noise impact.
Theoretical problems are also of interest as possibilities of practical realisation of noise control measures.

In education many branches of study are supported like Physical Engineering Science, Technical Environment Protection, Energy- and Building Technology, Architecture or Media Technology and Audio Communication.

Different Labs and extended measurement equipment are available as a basis of successful education and research.
